This single event has the potential to be our biggest fundraiser ever, but everyone must sell and purchase tickets.
Special thanks to Maureen Rader.  We applaud her for her   direction of the committee and securing the Holiday Inn French Quarters for us!  We look forward to next years raffle being held in the same location.
Text Box: The 2008 Varsity and Jr Varsity Winter Guards are off and running their spectacular performances.  
Varsity guard is performing a show titled “The Language of Love,” being accompanied to the music of  Finally by Fergie. 
 While the floor is full of Robots, the Jr Varsity Guard,  performing “The Robot in Me,” utilizes the music from the movie Robots.
Just last weekend the guards Text Box: traveled down to Dayton to have two fantastic performances at Miamisburg and Bellbrook, even winning the Bellbrook show!  Our season is in full swing as we travel to Findlay for two shows on March 8th and 9th, and then in Westerville, Ohio on March 29th.
Finally, The MEPA Championships will be held on April 5th at Kettering High School.

Kudos (or should we say “Skittels”) to the staff and guard members for their outstanding achievements in the program!

Text Box: emcee Mr. Rob Cintron, a generous variety of silent auction and raffle items (including a Hot Air Balloon ride).  On top of all this, five band parents (four alumni parents and one current band parent), were the final five tickets in the drawing.  These lucky five decided to split the pot and each won $600.00!

A great time was had at the Holiday Inn French Quarters in Perrysburg.  By whom and for what you ask?  It was the setting for the Maumee Band Parents Reverse Raffle.  Those who attended were treated to a full course dinner, magic by Maumee Magician, Patrick Pryzynski, the wonderful wit of Text Box: “Magical Night” MBPO Reverse Raffle
Text Box: forms.  The show was written by long-time Maumee designers and alumnus Scott Kretzer and Doug Logston.
The indoor drumline will be appearing at various competitions throughout the season, including both of the two Findlay and the Bellbrook High School sponsored MEPA Text Box: shows, as well as the OIPA sponsored Springfield High School show. 
The indoor drumline will then defend its 2007 first-place title at the 2008 MEPA Championships on April 5th.
